Do you want to build a…cowboy?! Kristen Bell is set to host this year's CMT Music Awards, Us Weekly exclusively reveals.
The Frozen star will host the award show solo for the first time ever; Bell previously co-hosted twice before, once with Toby Keith in 2012 and once with Jason Aldean in 2013.
The mom to Lincoln, 14 months, tells Us she's excited to host again and "not really" nervous to take on the role alone. "CMT proposed I host on my own this year, so I said, sure I'd give it a try," the 33-year-old reveals of how she scored the gig.
The Veronica Mars actress adds she loves the awards show because "it's such a fun show that never takes itself too seriously." Not to mention, she tells Us, "The musical performances are like seeing the best country concert lineup all in one venue."
Performances will include everyone from Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and more.

"We have a ton of surprise guests and artists this year that I’m really excited to see perform," Bell continues, adding she loves that "country music songs tell stories" and that they're "relatable."
Bell's favorite part about hosting the event is "the fact I get an up-close and personal seat to all the performances." As for some of her favorite country artists, Dax Shepard's wife admits she "loves Miranda Lambert's upcoming album, and also Kacey Musgraves' song 'Follow Your Arrow.'"
Tune in to the CMT Music Awards on June 4 at 8pm EST (broadcasting live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena) on CMT. Follow #CMTawards on Twitter for more updates.
