Originally from Orange, California, Larry “Link” Linkogle was born on February 12, 1977, and is the creator and owner of Metal Mulisha, LLC. He competes in freestyle motocross competitions throughout the world. As a stuntman in feature films, Linkogle holds the world record for long distance motorbike leaps and has featured in a number of them. He is widely recognised as a pioneer of freestyle motocross competition. In addition to being one of the most well recognised freestyle motocross teams in the world, Metal Mulisha is also an internationally renowned lifestyle clothing brand. Linkogle and his pals wearing Metal Mulisha gear while doing tricks and jumps at the world’s first FMX course—the Metal Mulisha Compound, which was constructed near Linkogle’s boyhood home—has evolved into one of the most well-known and renowned brands in action sports. A chopper blade hit Larry Linkogle in the face during a stunt scene for the 2001 film Triple X, killing him instantly. Linkogle had been acting as Vin Diesel’s stunt double for the film at the time of the tragedy. At the time of the event, it was thought that the injuries sustained were minimal, and Larry Linkogle was able to walk away from the scene of the accident.
