Taraji P. Henson Looks Beautiful Without Makeup: Pics

September 2024 · 2 minute read

It’s no secret that Taraji P. Henson looks fabulous in full glam, but we’re equally as obsessed when she goes totally makeup-free. To celebrate the 49-year-old’s best au naturel moments, Us Weekly’s Stylish has rounded up some of her best bare-faced pics from social media.

The Empire star is no stranger to the #NoMakeup hashtag on Instagram and fans appreciate her transparency. Most recently, the actress shared an untouched selfie after having just woken up, on Monday, August 10. It’s far from professional but oh-so relatable. In the pic, she lays in bed rocking long pink braids and a glowing complexion.

When it comes to her hair, we know that the actress relies on her haircare line, TPH by Taraji, to perfect her naturally curly locks — and they always look incredible. Last April, the mom of one walked her 16 million Instagram followers through the steps on how to achieve her voluminous curls.

Last February, when shooting a Beauty Secrets video with Vogue, the Around the Way Girl author shared her everyday routine. “Because I keep a clean, healthy scalp, my face regimen is really like ‘eh,’” she said, using her hands to joke about how simple her skincare routine is.

She starts by washing her face with Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser, which costs just $6 at Target. After cleansing, she uses Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Super Glow Serum ($26), which she presses into her skin with her palms. And last but not least, she finishes with Paul Scerri Moisturizing Day Cream ($51). “That’s all I’ve been doing, all these years,” said the Washington, D.C. native. So there you have it! Those are the three steps for skin like Henson.
